AI Tools for Social & Community

5 categories, 29 tools published.

Eighteen tools, and the whole section turns on one question: does the vendor charge for people or for accounts?

Sendible charges $35 a month with unlimited users and meters workspaces instead. Metricool covers fifty brands at €43. Hootsuite charges $99 per user and caps the entry tier at ten social accounts. Sprout Social charges $79 to $399 per seat, so its bill follows headcount rather than how many accounts you post to. For an agency of eight people managing twelve brands, those four products differ by an order of magnitude in annual cost while doing broadly the same job.

Community management is the smaller half and works differently again. Discourse leaves members unlimited and charges for staff seats. Bettermode counts members and steps from $399 to $1,500 between ten and twenty-five thousand of them. Common Room starts at $2,500 and is really a sales-intelligence product wearing community clothes.

How to choose in this section

Count your staff and your accounts, then divide. This single calculation reorders the entire section and it takes two minutes.

Free tiers here are real but narrow. Metricool's excludes LinkedIn and X — which for many B2B teams excludes the point. Buffer's covers three channels.

For community, decide who is the unit. If you have many members and few moderators, pay for seats. If you have a small, high-value membership, paying per member may be cheaper.
